From the descriptions I read I expected a lot more. I was disappointed in the small flame that it has. It doesn't do what I bought it for, burning tall weeds along the banks of a creek.
After our ice storm this winter my husband easily cleared the sidewalk of the sheen of dangerous ice. This was safe, easy to use and toasted the dead weeds in the cracks on our patio quickly. Well worth the cost, a super product and yes.lots of fun to use as long as you are careful.
A great tool. I works well around borders and trees where you do not want to spray. I inherited this little jewel from my mother's estate. She had a lot of decorative rock landscaping,as I do, and it works well for killing weeds and burning leaves in an area that you do no not want to use weed killers and the like. Fuel consumption is fair and I feel it fills a niche for all of us who have yards that need a little more care by fire than by chemicals.
Along with the propane this is all you will need for killing small weeds in the yard.
